KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That I, Frederick STREIG of Lake City,
County of Modoc, State of California, the party of the first part, in
consideration of the sum of Five thousand and 00/100 Dollars current lawful money of the
United States of America, to him in hand paid by Grover WIMER of the same
Town, County and State the party of the second part, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, does by these presents sell unto the party of the second
part his executors, administrators, and assigns all the stock of fixtures and
merchandise that he now owns, situate in the store, located on the lot 7, Block
"J" in the Town of Lake City, County of Modoc, State of California,
BETWEEN Charles STREIG of Fort Bidwell, Modoc County, State of California
the party of the first part, and Samuel STREIG of Lake City, Modoc County,
State of California, the party of the second part,
And he does for his heirs, executors and administrators, covenant and agree,
with the party of the second part, his executors, administrators and
assigns, to warrant and defend the sale of the said property, goods and chattels,
unto the party of the second part, his executors, administrators and assigns,
against all and every person and persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to
claim the same.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand the 6th day of February one
thousand nine hundred and twenty.

twenty, before me R. R. BAKER a Notary Public in and for the County of Modoc,
personally appeared Frederick STREIG, personally known to me to be the person
